Building Studio Spire: an editorial site for an architecture studio

Studio Spire is an architecture and interior design studio based in Dhaka. Their work is quiet, material-driven, and precise — and they needed a website that read the same way. Nothing templated, nothing loud.

The brief

Studio Spire came to us with a simple ask: a site that could hold a growing portfolio of projects, let visitors browse by category, and feel as considered as the spaces they design. The previous version of their online presence was a static set of pages that couldn't grow with new work.

What we built

We designed and built the site from scratch around four pieces:

• An editorial homepage that leads with a single strong image and a clear statement of what the studio does, rather than a slideshow of everything at once.
• A filterable project gallery organized by category — building design, commercial, office, and residential — so visitors can jump straight to the kind of work relevant to them.
• Individual project pages with a consistent layout for images, descriptions, and details, making it easy to add new projects without redesigning anything.
• Team, services, and contact pages that round out the site without competing with the project work for attention.

Why it works

The biggest constraint on a studio's website isn't design, it's maintenance. A beautiful site that's painful to update stops getting updated. We built the gallery and project pages around a structure the Studio Spire team can extend themselves as new projects wrap, without needing us involved for every update.

The goal wasn't to make the busiest possible homepage. It was to make one strong enough that visitors trust the studio before they've even opened the project gallery.

Result

The site is live at studiospirebd.com, with project, services, team, and contact pages, and a gallery structure the studio's team maintains independently.

Who built it

Studio Spire was designed and built by Jawad Hasan and Raiyan Bin Atik, who handled the project end to end — design, front-end build, the project gallery system, and launch.
